| Hello
all, and thanks again
for joining me on this journey. In my professional life, I am a
Senior Instructional Designer with Interactive Media Corp., a McLean,
VA-based company which develops multimedia training for corporate and
government clients. Before joining the IT industry I studied and taught
in my academic field of U.S. history; my teaching background includes
stints at Yale University and the University of Baltimore.

| In my
private time I am an avid railroad
preservationist, photographer and writer. From 1994 through 1996, I was a volunteer
brakeman and conductor at the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Museum, located at 601 W. Pratt Street in downtown Baltimore,
Marylandthe birthplace of North American railroading. Beginning in April of
1999, I entered train service with the Walkersville
Southern Railroad in Walkersville, MD. Join us any summer Saturday or Sunday for a
scenic five-mile ramble on the former Frederick Secondary of the once-mighty Pennsylvania
Railroad. I also proudly serve as Assistant Editor of Railway
Preservation News, the online magazine of railway history and preservation edited by
Bob Yarger and published by Hume Kading.
