| Engine #6, Padarn, a later Swiss-built 0-4-2T which arrived to supplement the original quartet #2-5 in 1922. Unlike the 1895/6 engines, Padarn boasts a superheated boiler. Note the complete absence of a rear coupler or draft gear-- SMR locomotives do all their work pushing from the rear of the train. |
