| Trainspotting in Wales |
Linda's driver, Paul Davis, gives her fireman a rest by taking a turn at the waterspout. I spoke briefly with Paul between his chores, and learned that he is a retired IBM-Europe executive: another of the diverse characters joined together by love of the little trains. In the background one can see the vast slate tips tumbling down the flanks of the Moelwyn Mountains, slashed by the scars of the tramways and planes. |
