Vale of Rheidol #8 in Aberystwyth Station

Vale of Rheidol Engine #8 maneuvers through the narrow-gauge passing loop in Aberystwyth station. The active main-line platform is immediately behind the engine; VoR's tracks occupy the former standard-gauge Manchester and Milford platform. The M&M once offered direct train service from Aberystwyth to South Wales, but it is no longer possible to travel from North to South Wales by train without passing through England. Note the fine tracery of station's ironwork canopies behind the engine.
