| Coal and water both refreshed, #14 pulls back off the coal dock stub track and onto the Rockhill Furnace wye while the fireman leans out to keep a lookout ahead. EBT's Mikados are, to all intents and purposes, miniaturized versions of standard-gauge engine designs. However, given the incompressible size of a human being, nothing much could be done to trim the size of the cab in proportion. The result was a beautifully-proportioned engine saddled with a cab that looks a little large for the locomotive around it. |
