Vintage steam enthusiasts
were treated to a once-in-a-lifetime spectacle by Britain's
famed Bluebell Railway this past February. "Victorian Steam" was the
theme for the road's 2001 Winter Steam-Up, a two-day event which saw
four centenarian steam locomotives from the Bluebell's own roster operating
side-by-side with two engines of equal vintage on loan from the Isle
of Wight Steam Railway, a sister preserved railway line.
